‘Death of iTunes’ Rumors Are Starting to Look More Real This Time

Giving the rumors look more real, Apple is showing us, more signs that these rumors are true about the closing of iTunes.

Some recent activity by the Apple on iTunes pages on Instagram and Facebook have been cleaned off their content, Reddit and MacRumors report rumors.

This just happening before the big event of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The annual event of Apple Company where they announce many projects and it looks like they have already according to the reports closing the iTunes, which is more than 18 years old app.

If you visit the Instagram page of iTunes it currently redirects you to its Apple TV page, on the other side the page’s linking directly to its Apple TV+.

Mostly viewers noticed that content of the Facebook page appears that may have removed or moved it from iTunes page over to its Apple TV page.

However, curiosity happens when its Twitter account content is working properly and look good.

Steve Troughton-Smith a senior developer tweeted in April regarding that:

“fairly confident based on evidence I don’t wish to make public at this point that Apple is planning new (likely UIKit) Music, Podcasts, perhaps even Books, apps for macOS, to join the new TV app,”.

He also added that this also meant “the much-discussed and long-awaited break up of iTunes”.

Now for the time of the big event which is happening on this upcoming Monday and we are so close to it WWDC. We’ll see about these rumors.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman added few words on Friday, saying that the iTunes, which has too many confusing functions for a too damn long and must be replaced by new macOS apps Podcasts, Music and TV.

According to the rumors, the new feature will let the user manage through Music app.
