Cons of Qualtrics:

  1. Unlike SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics is only geared toward advanced users and enterprises.
  2. According to customers, the report interface can be slow to load and once loaded and exported to a Word document or PDF, often shows blurry report graphics.
  3. Students can drag the cursor in order to avoid watching videos integrated into surveys.
  4. Qualtrics is more expensive than SurveyMonkey. Subscriptions for Qualtrics start at $299/ year.

Bottom line:

Qualtrics has more advanced integrations and tools than SurveyMonkey. If you represent a large organization and have individuals with software experience creating the surveys–than Qualtrics is the better choice for you. Keep in mind though, that your budget will have to be higher for Qualtrics than for SurveyMonkey.
