Twitter Seemed To Be Testing An Edit Feature, But the Company Says It’s A Bug

Recently, Twitter has introduced its new feature in which it has allowed any of its users to restrict tweet replies and comments. This feature was much demanded by the Twitter Community for a very long time.

It has been noticed that Twitter came up with another updated capability. However, it was considered as an initial test. This may allow the users to edit their tweet engagements and replies even after realizing the typing error and deleting it.

As this was another highly demanded feature by the users, so it caused an overwhelming situation for them as came into consideration the last Sunday.

One of the legendry Rugby Union players of the United Kingdom, Mr. Tom Warren tweeted on this regard putting forward this new detected update. He posted a video in which it was clearly visible that one can delete and then edit that particular tweet comment.

He stated along with the video that, “Twitter seems to be testing a neat way to edit tweets. If you delete a tweet when you reply to someone and then go to reply again it brings the old text back so you can correct your typo”.

Another tweet by Star Simpson was perceived with the eyes in which he addressed this Twitter feature. He seemed to be very cheerful with regard to this update. But, soon afterward, on Sunday evening, Liz Kelly, one of the Twitter spokeswomen tweeted a reply to Mr. Tom Warren.

In this tweet, she mentioned that this wasn’t any sort of an update but a bug. She stated that “Unfortunately, we’re not testing this. It’s a bug and we’re looking into it.”

Twitter users have been looking for an editable feature for many years. The CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has clearly expressed his views about the matter. He has said that Twitter would probably never interpose an edit button feature.

Although, the users are granted the reply-limiting capability to make sure to provide them better control over the conversations. This feature was released after a long-term requisition of the twitter community and the public demand.
